On a sunny Saturday afternoon Northbridge sides managed to secure two victories, one in B Grade who completed their 2-day match with a 76 run victory whilst the B Reserve side managed to chase down 182 runs to secure a 7 wicket victory. Noteable performances from the weekend included a massive 128 runs from skipper Bryan Massey in D1’s loss at Naremburn Upper. Northbridge Centenary Awards

At the recent Northbridge Cricket Club committee meeting we were presented with an award for participating in the Northbridge Centenary celebrations where NCC took on an Old Boys team from Shore. Fielding a strong side, we emerged on top on the day. Ron Hick, Vice President of the Northbridge Progress Association, was on hand to present the award to NCC President Mitch Whyman in front of our many committee members. It is a great pleasure for our club to be involved in the community! Round 1 Availability (2013/2-14)

This Saturday, 12th September is Round 1 of the NSCA 2013/2014 Cricket Season. All our registered players will have received an email regarding your up and coming availability for Round 1. Please complete ASAP so team can be announced shortly. Players who have paid their fees get selected first, so make sure that all participating players have paid their season fees. If you haven’t received the email or are thinking of playing for the Bridge for the 2013/2014 season then register here.

Training this Sunday!

Training is on for the final time at North Sydney Boys High School this Sunday from 12 – 4pm, with the mid-week training commencing at the SCG Indoor nets from Tuesday 24th September from 7:30-9pm. All players wishing to participate in the 2013/14 season need to pay their fees prior to the 5th of October before we raise the price on this. Payment can be made via EFT or PayPal. Pre-Season Training

Pre-Season training is on again this Sunday afternoon (22nd September), from 12-4pm at North Sydney Boys High School nets. We will commence some mid-week training at the SCG Indoor centre from Tuesday 24th September from 7:30-9pm as well. If you haven’t already done so, head over and complete the player registration form if you wish to play cricket this season.
