NCC takes over Bunnings Sausage Sizzle… Again!

Published by:

The true club spirit of the ‘bridge was on display once again at Artarmon Bunnings with players from all teams helping out with the sausage sizzle. Their effort raised over $1,500 for the club. We even had some brand new members help out – some of whom only joined the club in the past few weeks!

Players involved included Peter Wood, Dave Allen, Stephen Sharah, Ben Maw, Mark Gett, Michael Quirk, Amit Gade, Jonas Berglund, Daniel Zatz, Enzo Calabria and Nitin Raikar.

We look forward to repeating the effort later in the season.

N.S.W. Batting Coach now also Northbridge Director of Coaching

Published by:

Mr Corey Richards, the N.S.W. batting coach, has agreed to become the Northbridge Director of Coaching and oversee the batting & bowling sessions at the S.C.G. (dependant of course on his availability, as on occasions he may well be away with the Blues).

Mr Richards is also the assistant coach with the Sydney Sixers and works with NSW Under 19’s and Under 17’s teams! This is a gracious offer on his part as he has significant training and other commitments, and the NCC are absolutely delighted to be offered this opportunity. The NCC Executive encourages all players to attend the S.C.G. training sessions and to ensure they approach Mr Richards for hints and advice.

Sincere thanks goes out to our Club Patron, Mr David Allan, for his efforts in securing this fantastic coach!

NCC takes over Bunnings Sausage Sizzle!

Published by:

The likes of David Allan, John Christodoulakis, Ben Maw, Steve Hill as well as the two Mitch’s (Whyman and Nicholls) all put in the hard work in preparing, cooking and selling thousands of sausage sandwiches to raise over $1,200 in cash for the club. Feedback received from Bunnings and the customers themselves is still flowing in, with all reports that they were the best sausage sandwiches going around, and we are welcome back there to do it again in the future!
